Gulls Roost is situated in the popular former fishing village of Portreath, nestled in a valley between Perranporth and Hayle.
Due to the steep climb with steps to the property, it may be unsuitable for the elderly or disabled.

French doors lead to the furnished conservatory with spectacular views. The conservatory also has a "put-me-up" bed available on request (no extra charge) that would suit a teenager. To the rear of the conservatory is a door leading to a decked balcony.

DIRECTIONS
From the main A30 to Penzance, take the 2nd exit marked Portreath. Follow the signs for two miles whch takes you into Portreath. As you go downhill with the sea in front of you, take the left hand turn into Battery Hill (opposite the Basset Arms Public House). Gulls Roost is the second property on the left hand side.
LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
Portreath has a beautiful secluded soft fine sand and shingle beach backed by rugged cliffs on one side and the pier on the other, making it popular with families and surfers alike. Portreath is an ideal base to visit the many other towns and villages that Cornwall has to offer. Newquay, Penzance and St. Ives are all within easy driving distance.
Bustling St. Ives is a must with its many art galleries, including the Tate overlooking Porthmeor beach. With its cobbled streets and quaint shops it also has many fine restaurants to suit all tastes. St. Ives can also be reached by the coastal train from Lelant which is well worth taking and is said to be one of the most scenic train journeys in Europe.
