Situated on the hill down into Trevone, Bryn Cottage is a pretty cottage style bungalow, set back and above the road with lovely views across to the moors. Sleeping 6/7 the accommodation is modern, comfortable and well equipped. The garden is enclosed and private and has parking for 3 cars.

Just a 10min walk to the lovely sandy beach, Bryn Cottage is also just 5min from the pub and a 20min walk to Padstow or Harlyn Bay. The coast path is stunning and the rock pool beach and natural swimming pool keep the kids happy for hours. Ideal for the family holiday or for a long peaceful weekend.

A comfortable character bungalow Bryn Cottage sleeps 6/7 in three bedrooms.
It has full gas central heating and double glazing.
Recently redecorated the lounge is well equipped with TV, DVD, CD/Stereo,
A selection of books, Cd’s and a few DVD’s.
There is also a real flame gas fire and a bay window with far reaching views.
The large modern kitchen is fully equipped with dish washer, halogen hob and oven,
Washing/dryer, toaster, George Forman grill, breakfast bar and French doors to the rear garden.
The dining room leads off from the kitchen and has views to the front and across the fields.
The main bedroom has a king size bed, wardrobe and chests of drawers and views across to the moors.
The second bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and drawers.
Bedroom three has bunks with a double on the bottom and a single above. This room also has its own large bathroom to supplement the shower room that serves the other beds.
The front garden is a large sunny space to sit and enjoy the views while eating your lunch or relaxing with a glass of wine. Above the road and surrounded by hedges and with lots of flowering plants and shrubs the garden is a very quiet, private and pleasant area to while away an afternoon. The garden also has a picnic bench, a wooden swing seat and a raised decking area with a bench immediately outside the front door.
There is a small rear garden with a washing line. For the less mobile guests french doors to the kitchen allow for access to the bungalow without having to deal with the three steps at the front.

The drive allows parking for three cars and there is a tap to one side to rinse of the remains of the beach. With the five bar gate at the bottom of the drive closed you have a child safe area.

A five minute walk takes you to the local post office, which will supply all your basic needs including fresh bread and croissants every morning, plus local meats and produce. A gift shop with tea room, a farm shop and the local pub.

A 10 minute walk takes you to either of the local beaches. The sandy bay is ideal for surfing and a lifeguard is on duty throughout the summer, there is also a café and a beach/surf shop where you can hire your wetsuits. Adjacent to this is the rockpool beach a lovely area of flat slate teeming with sea life, the slate makes easy steps to walk on and the children will spend hours pocking around in the hundreds of pools. A short walk on along the coastpath and you will come to the natural swimming pool, a large rock pool exposed for most of the tide where the kids can swim with the fishes, snorkel and take their inflatable boats while the adults can sit back and relax.

Changeover is on Sunday, In at 2.00 and out at 10.00.
You will need to bring your own linen and towels.
Electricity and heating is included.
Bookings all year, weekend breaks can be arranged out of high season.
20% deposit required on booking with the balance payable six weeks before holiday.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
From Trevone you have many beautiful walks including the stunning coastal walk to Padstow, but be warned the direct route to Padstow will take you twenty minutes, the coast path will take two hours and in need of a cab home. Head in the opposite direction and you will arrive in Harlyn Bay, 20 mins on the coast path, 1 mile by road. An enormous sandy bay, Harlyn has an excellent surf school.
Nearby Padstow offers an interesting shopping centre with plenty of good places to eat, pubs,cinema, a park and crazy golf all set around the lovely old harbour.
From Padstow you can book fishing trips, speed boat rides or get the ferry to rock with its watersport centre. Padstow also marks the seaward end of the Camel Trail,
which takes you along the estuary to Wadebridge and on to Bodmin. Bike hire is available.
Newquay with its nightlife and airport is 10 miles distant, the Eden Project about a 40 minute drive, There are many historic houses and gardens to visit in the area and the Trevose Golf Club is just a short ten minute drive.
