You arrive at the Studio up a long lane; in spring and early summer there is a profusion of wild flowers. The accommodation is accessed by 8 old granite steps (hand rail) and lies behind the owner’s house with its own gate, providing complete privacy.
The studio has a spacious enclosed garden which is south facing and a sun trap. It is laid to lawn with large fushias and trees creating shade. There are two sunloungers, garden furntiure and a barbeque.
Inside, the Studio is open plan and beautifully light with roof level picture windows; plants, pictures. DIRECTIONS
Take the A 30 to the St Ives turn off (roundabout). Turn towards St Ives. Almost immediately there are two mini roundabouts. Go straight on at the first one, then go left at the second which has a brown sign with “Tate St Ives; St Ives Holiday Village“ and is signed to Nancledra, Halsetown, Lelant Downs. (There is another route to St Ives as well. DON'T TAKE IT). Follow this road for about 3 miles to a T – junction; take the left hand turn signed “Penzance“ and then almost immediately turn right to “Towednack“. Follow this road for about 1.5 miles and take the third road to the left, signed “Amalveor, Georgia, Embla“. After half a mile do not turn sharp left but go straight up the unmade lane (green wheely bin at bottom of lane, and you can see the house at the top). Drive up to the house and park just beyond the garage before the gate. The Studio is at the back of the house.
