Seven The Stables is set in an attractive courtyard. A unique conversion of a Grade 2 stableyard, part of the Tehidy Estate dating back over 700 years. Once home to the Bassett family, local mine and land owners,back in the days when Cornwall was famous for its tin mining.
Situated within a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, it stands in 42 acres of private parkland, it adjoins the Tehidy Park Golf Club and 250acres of beautiful woodlands. The footpaths, horse & cycle trails lead up to the North Coast Footpath, just 10 mins walk from the Stables.
The Stables is a beautiful home offering spacious accommodation, with all the comforts you would expect, tastefully furnished to a high standard.
Spacious accommodation for up to 6 people, the master bedroom has an en-suite shower room, there is a well appointed bathroom.
Downstairs there is a superb loung and dining area, a fully fitted kitchen and a downstairs toilet.
Outside there is a lovely enclosed walled garden with large patio, ideal for those lazy summer evenings.
The lounge is a superb dual aspect room, light & airy, french doors open out with steps down to the garden,back inside there are two comfortable sofas, a large coffee table containing some board games, and there is also a t.v. and dvd player. At the far end of the room is a more formal dining area, there is a large table to seat 6 people.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has an electric double oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer & fridge with freezer compartment.
There is an iron & board in the wardrobe of bedroom 2. Leading off the kitchen is a dining conservatory with oak table and chairs.
A door opens out onto steps which lead down into the garden.
There is also a downstairs toilet.
On the first floor there is a spacious galleried landing, leading off are -
Bedroom 1 with en-suite shower room with toilet and wash hand basin. This room has a 5ft. pocket sprung bed, chest of drawers & built in wardrobe.

Bedroom 2 a superb dual aspect room with 3 ft. twin beds, 2 double fitted wardrobes, small chest of drawers and an armchair. Views over the courtyard and garden.
Bedroom 3 has a 3ft. bed with 3ft. stowaway bed under, fitted wardrobe and views over the country park.
The bathroom has a white suite, bath with shower attachment, toilet and wash hand basin.
Outside there is garden furniture where you can sit, relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the surrounding woodlands.
On you arrival there will be a Welcome Pack, cornish pasties,milk, bread & butter. So after a long journey you can start to relax, unwind and enjoy what Cornwall has to offer.
All bedlinen, towels (not beach towels) & electricity are included in the tariff.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
Superb sandy beaches are 10 minutes away, Portreath 3 miles & the glorious National Trust beach at Godrevy 5 miles. This beach overlooks Godrevy Lighthouse & across the bay to St. Ives. The north cornish coast is home to some of the county's finest surfing beaches, as well some of the seal population who can be seen swimming in around the secluded coves.
The Stables is ideally situated , with easy access to the Cathedral City of Truro, Falmouth with the National Maritime Museum and the English Heritage Pendennis Castle, and St. Ives with its sandy beaches and home to the Tate Gallery, all these just a 20 minute drive away.
The Eden Project & The Lost Gardens of Heligan are 35 minutes away, Penzance is 25 minutes and from here you can explore Lands End the Minnack Theatre, or you could go to the stunning Isles of Scilly for the day, a truly sub tropical paradise! Fly or sail from Penzance.
Your options are endless, if you do not want to take the car out, pack a picnic, take a stroll through the woods to the coastal path,and just take in the stunning views along the spectacular north cornish coastline.
