Situated in a picturesque valley in Mid Cornwall between the towns of Bodmin and Lostwithiel, overlooking the spectacular Lanhydrock Estate and within minutes of the Eden Project.

This detached former barn retains its original unique character, yet has been sympathetically converted to an exceptional standard offering every modern convenience for the discerning guest.

Brean Park commands wonderful rural views of Lanhydrock House and the surrounding woodlands, it is superbly presented, exquisite converted barn, conveniently located for exploring this lovely area.

Inside, the spacious sitting/dining room is charming, with a beamed ceiling, handsome slate floor, with luxurious under-floor heating. Sumptuous leather sofas surround the enormous wood-burner, perfect for relaxing comfortably before the impressive home entertainment system, which includes a wide screen plasma TV with DVD and Playstation 2, complete with games.

The kitchen has beautiful handmade oak furniture and is full equipped with electric range cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer.

The four beautifully furnished bedrooms, two of which are doubles and the others twin rooms, (although the twin beds can be made into double beds) have flat screen TVs and are fully ensuite, two enjoy whirlpool baths, with shower above. The others are wet rooms, which allows easy access, and with single level accommodation, Brean Park is suitable for those with restricted mobility.

Part of a working farm, it is quite private with a large enclosed garden, patio and barbecue, perfect for al fresco dining and absorbing the mesmerising views. There is a serparate driveway and private parking for four cars.

Brean Park is open all year and short breaks are available.

DIRECTIONS
From the A30 take turning to Bodmin, take 3rd left (withing 1/2 mile) towards Liskeard after 1 mile you will come to a T junction turn left follow road until a roundabout, take first exit towards Liskeard (A38) then take the second right towards Lostwithiel (within 1/2 mile) take the first left towards Respryn follow this road going over a narrow bridge stay on this road we are 3/4 mile on the left after the bridge.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
Respryn Bridge is just a few minutes walk away and from there one can take a walk along the wooded riverbank towards Restormel Castle, or carry on to Lanhydrock House and enjoy all that this magnificent National Trust property has to offer, including the beautiful gardens and impressive tours of the house.

Bodmin Parkway railway station is also within walking distance, from where one can enjoy a steam train ride to the historic old market town of Bodmin.

Brean Park is ideally located to be able to explore the rest of Cornwall and enjoy all that this lovely county has to offer. The world renowned Eden Project is just minutes away and within easy reach are some fantastic gardens including The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Trelissick Gardens. For those that enjoy walking there's the open expanse of Bodmin Moor with Jamaica Inn, made famous by the Daphne du Maurier novels to the rugged coastlines with soaring cliffs and historic harbours. There are also some beautiful secluded sandy beaches on both the North & South coasts.

For sporting enthusiasts there are many amenities within easy reach - Siblyback Resevoir offers water sports and fishing. There's cycle hire at Bodmin, from where one can travel along the Camel Trail to Wadebridge and Padstow. Horse riding at St. Veep Stables, Lostwithiel and tennis, swimming, gym etc at the Dragon Leisure centre, Bodmin. Golf courses close to Brean Park include Lanhydrock and Lostwithiel, with St. Mellion not far away.

Lostwithiel, which is about a mile away offers many pubs and restaurants for those who want to enjoy a quiet evening out.
