A valley garden leading to the Helford River and Durgan Village. It has many fine trees and exotic shrubs. There are outstanding spring displays of magnolias and camellias, with wild flowers in late season. For children there is a laurel maze and Giant’s Stride.

TREBAH

An exotic, sub-tropical garden in a ravine that falls down to a private beach on the Helford Estuary. Giant tree ferns and palms mingle with trees and shrubs in ever-changing colour. A magical playground for all ages.

The Garden opens every day at 10.30am and during the winter closes at 4.30pm or dusk if earlier.

KEN-CARO GARDENS

PENJERRICK

A peaceful, uncommercialised, ten-acre garden created by the 19th century Fox family. It features rhododendrons, tree ferns, magnolias, camellias and magnificent trees. A wooden bridge leads to a wilder, sub-tropical valley ,with ponds and bamboos in a jungle-like primaeval setting.

The garden is open 1 March - 30 September, Sunday, Wednesday, Friday, 13:30-16:30. Please park cautiously on the drive.
