Victorian garden of two and a half acres. Many features, including a small lake, maze-type walkways, shrubs and herbaceous plants, dovecote, cream tea garden, children’s play area, pets corner, and restaurant.

Plants are available to buy at the gardens and if you note the plants that you are interested in as you walk around the garden we can provide you with your own plants, propagated from the garden stock.

PRIDEAUX PLACE

Nineteenth Century woodland walks re-opened, newly-planted lime avenue, and major re-planting under way in this 40-acre garden. There is an 18h century temple, 19th century formal garden and magical views of the Camel estuary from an ancient deer park. Tours of the Elizabethan mansion are available.

OPEN SUNDAY TO THURSDAY FROM Easter Sunday to 12th April 2007 and 13th May to 4th October ALL YEAR TO PRE-BOOKED GROUPS OF 15 OR MORE. Grounds and Tearoom 12.30pm to 5pm. House tours 1.30 to 4 pm (last tour).Closed Friday and Saturday.

Admission charges House and Grounds: Adult £7.00 Grounds only: Adult £2.00. Reductions for children
