Established as a golf club in 1922 Tehidy Park is a superb parkland course with a number of tree lined fairways. There are also three lakes which come into play on three holes, in particular on the testing 193 yard par three 17th. Trevose offers an ideal holiday for either the real golfing enthusiasts or for others who wish to play golf on occasions and enjoy the other amenities that are available in, or close to the complex. These include a par-72 championship course, nine-hole full-length course and nine-hole short course. Bowood Park Golf Club is set in more than 200 acres of rolling hills and woodlands. This roving parkland course was once the Deer Park of the Black Prince and is home of the Volvo Masters. Situated on the very edge of the Atlantic Ocean, Cape Cornwall is the first and last 18-hole golf course in Britain and is the perfect venue for a weekend or more away. The club's comfortable, well planned on-site apartments are available throughout the year and are detached from the main facilities. The course has spectacular views overlooking the ocean and was designed in 1990 by Bob Hamilton. It is a truly natural course, and very well drained to the extent that there is never a need for winter greens. The course is a challenge for the club golfer and low handicap golfer alike. Falmouth Golf Club occupies possibly one of the most spectacular sites on which to locate a golf course. Situated in the heart of Cornwall, this 18-hole golf course is one of the most varied in the county. Designed to take full advantage of the natural features of the landscape, it combines two very distinctive areas of hillside and valley. At just under 6,000 yards the par 72 course, established in 1991, offers a challenge to the accomplished player yet is also suitable for a beginner. To complement the course there are exeptional practice facilities including a floodlit driving range with under cover and grass bays, putting greens and practice bunkers. A course not to be missed, Lanhydrock is an acclaimed 18-hole parkland course located one mile South of Bodmin. It is a strategic course with poor shots rarely resulting in ‘death and destruction’ but intelligent strokes fully rewarded. Visitors will find a warm atmosphere and are welcome year round. There is limited accommodation on-site.

On this challenging picturesque course, the outward holes are in a pleasant parkland setting whilst the return holes command spectacular views over St Austell Bay. Mullion was included in the top ten golf courses in the U.K. (The Independent, Aug. 2002). It is the most southerly course in England. In 19905 writer and critic Turley Smith described it as “the most unorthodox and sporting club. Perranporth is an outstandingly natural championship links course. Designed by James Braid in 1927 the original layout has not been changed. Superb greens which are hard, fast and absolutely true are a feature of this testing and interesting course, which also drains well and is always playable off normal tees and greens, 365 days a year. A challenge for the low handicap players and yet allows the higher handicap player to return reasonable scores, and winner of the 2nd Best Value For Money Course in the British Isles by Golf World readers’ poll in 1999.
