Situated in North Cornwall on the scenic Camel Estuary, Rock Ski Club provides ski excitement in a designated and regulated area. Cornwall Water Ski is the only club that operates inland in the West Country, with access to flat water whatever the conditions. The club is are based in a former China clay quarry with great wind protection. There is a six-buoy slalom course and a tournament boat with perfect pass. The club opened in June 2001 and runs from April 1st to the end November each year. It is a small, privately run, friendly and informal club but fully affiliated to British Water-Ski and has three qualified drivers and instructors on site. The club uses a Malibu Response LX boat with the option of using the boom attached to the boat, which is a great help for total beginners, or the rope method which can be used once the technique is mastered on the boom.
