These galleries were once the former Mariners Church, an imposing granite building in the heart of St.Ives. The St.Ives Society of Artists shows more than 200 works by its 50 members from March to November in the Norway Gallery, once the main body of the church, now a large, light and airy show-space. Groups and individuals mount a series of independent one or two week exhibitions in the society’s Mariners Gallery, once the crypt, but now a second large and well-lit show-space. Further information about the Society, its members, and its galleries can be found on its large and informative.
