Sterts is situated just a two-minute drive from Lower Netherton, at Upton Cross, near Liskeard, and is one of the country's more atmospheric drama and music venues, beneath a canvas cover in the middle of Bodmin Moor.
Sterts promotes the very best in drama, music, dance, printing, photography, sculpture and crafts within its theatre, gallery and grounds, making it as accessible as possible to the residents of Cornwall and Devon, and the many regular visitors to the area.
Sterts is also a registered educational charity and has hosted a wealth of activities and events, in partnership with various educational bodies and organisations. The centre provides hands-on experience and opportunities in many art forms for everyone, with a particular emphasis on the needs of young people.
The theatre is open from June to September, has its own bar, as well as an arts and craft shop, and is conveniently located opposite the excellent Caradon Inn at Upton Cross, serving good food.
