The Polgooth was originally a 16th Century counting house which supplied one of the biggest tin mining communities in Cornwall. The pub still retains many of the old characteristics from the past. Set in the beautiful quiet valley between St Austell and Mevagissey, the Polgooth Inn offers quality cask marque ale, a choice of fine wines, and an impressively extensive menu of locally sourced food, cooked fresh to order.
