The Metropole is an imposing Victorian building perched majestically on the crest of a gentle hill overlooking the popular town of Padstow.
This grand building has an elegant and welcoming interior with 58 comfortably furnished en suite bedrooms, a restaurant, lounge and bar. In addition to some of the best views in Padstow, it also has an outdoor swimming pool (Open July and August) in sheltered grounds and car parking. A dedicated and friendly team of staff, many of whom are long serving, works diligently to maintain a standard of accommodation, food and service that satisfies, and even exceeds, guest expectations.
The Café Bar is ideal for morning coffee, a light lunch or dinner and of course Cornish cream teas. No need to book, just wander in and we will be pleased to see you.

Raval’s offers a fine dining experience in modern luxurious surroundings in a magnificent listed property. The restaurant is a non-smoking 70 cover venue serving modern English, local, freshly prepared food. Menus change frequently reflecting seasonal availability and fisherman’s catch. We pride ourselves in offering delicious vegetarian options. The ground floor is a comfortable café-bar complete with sofa’s serving freshly ground coffees, lunches, snacks and cream teas. The stylish first floor Restaurant offers a more formal and contemporary setting, the high ceiling and large windows create a light and airy feel which is unique to 16 century listed properties in this part of the Westcountry.
At Raval’s we endeavour to provide the highest quality in food and service with great emphasis placed on the local sourcing of our ingredients. Our Chef’s make everything from breads to desserts on the premises each day. Each menu includes variety of dishes from favourites such as Rack of Lamb with raspberry and rosemary jus to less frequently used ingredients such as wild samphire which accompanies Gurnard with a shellfish bisque.

The Harbour Restaurant at The Metropole is one of Padstow’s undiscovered gems, no where else in Padstow do you get the combination of good food and great views out over the estuary. We already have 1 AA rosette and are aiming for the second. We use as much local Cornish produce as we can, using locally based suppliers to increase the quality and to reduce the food miles.
Our current menu includes scallops with a braised oxtail tortellini, fillet of brill poached in red wine with a wild mushroom risotto and steamed orange sponge with lemon curd ice cream and custard.
Our wine list, much purchased from Wadebridge Wines, gives ample choice to cover all tastes and budgets, not forgetting Sharps and Atlantic Breweries whose beers we stock! Even our bottled water is Cornish, thanks to the Dyers of Just Water near Bodmin.

Rojano's is locally-owned by Roger Rees and has been established following the success of Rojano's at Padstow. Situated on the new Piazza on Eddystone Road, it is very close to the famous Camel Trail and is only a minute’s walk from the busy town centre.
Inside there are 16 tables and a comfy sofa area, with
a much larger outside eating area which catches the sun until the early evening. Open all year: Monday to Saturday (closed Sundays); lunch noon-2.30pm, dinner 6pm onwards.
