Escape the crazy high street, parking nightmares, erratic bus lanes and hiding gifts under your jumper because you’ve forgotten your bag-for-life and head to Redruth where you can browse gifts, enjoy festive food and even meet Santa.
Open seven days a week offering Cornwall’s largest showrooms of beautiful jewellery, weekends at Cornwall Gold are about family fun.
There’s two great reasons to pencil in a trip – not only will the Cornish Pantry be offering its famous festive carvery on Saturdays as well as Sundays, but Father Christmas has also taken up weekend residency in his very own house.
Father Christmas will be in his grotto from 10am to 4pm ready to meet all the good boys and girls from across Cornwall. He also has a present or two to give to his visitors.
The Cornish Pantry will be putting on the festive tunes and serving up a delicious home-cooked roast, perfect to get the family together and enjoy some quality time without the washing up. Chef Ricky has also been working on homemade Christmas puddings (including gluten free), mince pies and a wide range of seasonal favourites, including winter-warming drinks with just a sniff of brandy (to keep out the cold). Food is served from 10am to 4pm daily, with the addition of the carvery from 12.30pm to 3pm each weekend.
Start Christmas off in the right way with festive fun and gifts that range from handmade bears in the Bear Works, to the best of Cornish produce in Simply Cornish Hampers and of course, Cornwall’s largest jewellery showroom.
