Rogue Theatre presents Winter Wood, Tehidy Woods

Dates from December 11 to December 30

One of Cornwall’s winter highlights is Rogue’s Winter Wood extravaganza. Let the faeries and woodland spirits lead the way with stories and songs. Follow the wandering path and meet Old Man Winter who will weave a tale and reveal the path to a wondrous festivity of wintry marvels. There will be a show with live music, festive stories, free hot chocolate, sparkly face painting and the chance to make your own traditional winter decoration to take home. Reindeer at Trelissick

Six dates between Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 20

Come and see the reindeer at Trelissick. They will be around the stables between 4pm - 7pm over the weekend.

This year’s Christmas show at the Hall For Cornwall stars Granville Saxton as Alderman Fitzwarren and Kernow King as Kenwyne. Dick Whittington sets off from Cornwall to follow his dreams of fame and riches. But times are hard, and before long our hero hasn’t got a penny to his name and nobody but his faithful cat for company. Acorn Theatre, Penzance: Duffy Beats The Devil

December 11 to 23 and December 28 to 30

Squashbox Theatre : The Christmassy Christmas Show of Christmassy Christmasness!

Dates and various venues from Saturday, December 5 to Saturday, December 12

Craig Johnson, a performer, musician and puppeteer from Penzance presents his hugely popular over-stuffed stocking of seasonal surprises crammed with puppets, songs and comedy, and over-flowing with crazy characters, silly slapstick, tall tales and fantastic facts. Trengwainton Garden Lantern Walk

Friday, December 4 at 5:30pm

Now a firmly established tradition, enjoy the magic of Trengwainton by candlelight. Wander through walled gardens lit by scores ofwithy lanterns then join in with singing carols and songs in the orchard.
