Ice Skating at Eden

The rink will open right the way through the winter till February 28 2016.

Eden’s magical ice rink will be back for winter 2015/2016 with sessions to suit all ages and abilities, including sessions for beginners.

Public skate sessions costing £6 per person are 40 minutes long and begin on the hour.

With a £40 Skater Pass Discount Card, it costs just £3 per session. The card includes entry to the Eden Project for the duration of the rink and is valid for all general skates and half- price skating sessions.

For very young skaters, Penguin skating aids are ideal for helping them gain confidence on the ice. They can be hired for any public skating session but pre-booking online is advisable.

There are parent and toddler ice-play sessions for children aged between 18 months and five years, with plenty of toys to enjoy. The sessions last 40 minutes, and children must be accompanied by an adult.

Other Sessions include:

Chilly Juniors - Fun skating sessions with races and games on selected Saturdays for those aged six to 12 years. Participants need to be able to skate.

School skating sessions - These 40-minute sessions are especially for school groups. Classes will join a maximum of 150 pupils on the ice.

Nursery/school ice play sessions - These ‘Infants on Ice’ non-skating, ice play sessions are exclusively for under sevens from nursery and school groups (maximum of 100 children per session).

Skating sessions and aids can be booked online, for any further questions contact the Eden Box Office on 01726 811972 or [email protected].
