Newquay Carnival back in town‏

Newquay’s Carnival Week is returning for a 3rd year on Saturday July 4th, running until Saturday July 11th. This fun filled series of events is set to fill the whole town with laughter and entertainment with the theme being ‘make us laugh’. The Carnival which has been organised this year by Newquay Lions is receiving extensive support from various sources, including Newquay Town Council, Newquay Business Improvement District (BID), who have contributed towards printing the promotional brochure and invested PR time, Sainsbury’s as well as various other local and national businesses.

 

This year, the mascot race will be preceding the parade which will start at

Hotel Victoria on East Street at 5.30pm on Saturday July 11th and will finish at Hotel Bristol where the Carnival Parade will commence. It’s the third time the mascot race will be taking place and the current reigning champion for the last two years is Leo the Lion, of the Newquay Lions.

Wiltons in the Garden at Trenance Cottages with live music and a BBQ

Sunday July 5th
11am - 4pm
The Regatta fun day at Trenance Boating Lake
3pm – 6pm
The Len Skade Generation Fun Tournament

St Columb Minor Church Evening Song
7.30pm
Hot finger Buffet. Farmers Arms St Columb Minor

7.30pm
