From April 12 to 20 you will find a new photography exhibition ‘Weight’ at No4 Killigrew St, Falmouth.

Weight is an exhibition by Tom Young, a 25 year-old surf photographer living in Cornwall. The series features work from his travels and life spent on the Cornish coast.

“I’ve been fortunate enough to live on the coast most of my life, which has enabled me to get in the sea and shoot, whenever the opportunity presents itself. Surf photography has been a passion of mine since I was about 20 and has taken me to some incredible places around the world. I now feel as though I have a sufficient portfolio to display within the restraints of a relevant theme. Much of my collection has been shot whilst swimming amongst the waves, which is an often unseen angle and can accurately reveal the true power of mother nature.”

On the opening night I will be showcasing films from Sam Werkmeister and other surf cinematographers which coincide with the theme and destinations of the shots.
