Cornwall’s gardening enthusiasts can enjoy free seed sowing masterclasses with expert Peter Burks at Trelwaney Garden Centre in Wadebridge on Saturday, February 7 and Sunday, 8.

“Now is the perfect time of the year to be sowing seeds so I will be hosting expert masterclasses to show people exactly what they need to do. I will also be able to teach them what seeds should be sown where and what varieties can be used together,” said Peter.

Visitors can turn up at the garden centre’s reception desk on either day for the classes, there is no booking needed. The masterclasses will take place between 11am to 3pm.

Carriages Restaurant, which seats up to 240 customers, is situated next to the lake at Trelawney@Wadebridge. It serves hot and cold drinks, snacks, cakes, breakfasts, lunches, a daily carvery and children’s meals.
