The
Celtic Crossing will take place this weekend between the Isles of Scilly and Sennen beach on the mainland UK.
A race distance of 50kms makes the Celtic Crossing one of the longest open ocean paddle races in the world.
Having ran last year for the first time, on Saturday, July 4, there will be six teams, both single and double crews, attempting the crossing.
The teams include the youngest all-girl team and in fact the youngest team ever to attempt the crossing.
